Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

An ID is required for RSVP Book Worm, Book Junkie, and Book Fanatic Reader Tickets. Your ID must match name ticket is registered under - NO EXCEPTIONS. Due to the content of some material being displayed and discussed, 18+ age is recommended unless with parental guidance.

 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is free in the Radisson at the Port parking lot.

 

How do I make reservations at the event hotel?

Reservations can be made all until May 28, 2020, after which rooms not reserved will be returned to general availability. For anyone wanting to come early or stay longer, if reserved by the date listed, the quoted rates are available 2 days before and 2 days after the event.

 

Reservations can be made by one of the following steps:

2. Enter Dates
3. Click “more search options”
4. Under Promotional Code enter the group code: “SCBL20
5. Follow through with reservation

What can/can't I bring to SCBL2020?

Bring a positive attitude and an eagerness to meet your favorite and new to you authors. You can bring already purchased books to be signed; however, they must be validated at the registration desk prior to entering the event. This may delay your entrance in a timely manner. We do recommend that you limit the books you bring or rotate them out from your hotel room or vehicle.

 

We encourage you taking pictures and getting swag signed by authors for your memory making items - i.e. photo albums, autograph books, picture frames, etc. Our authors love signing everything. Please be courteous when asking for an author's signature and be respectful for a decline of signing body parts.

If General Admission is FREE, why would I need a ticket?

No registration is required and the cost is FREE. General Admission allows you to be a part of the Saturday, June 27th book signing from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST. You will receive an Event Brochure and are invited to participate in the Photo Booth. We strongly recommend ordering an RSVP Book Worm Reader ticket (FREE). General admission will be available at the door ONLY if we have not reached our capacity limit and the RSVP Book Worm Reader ticket guarantees you getting in and you get a few other goodies. Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Please contact Teri Edney at scbl@spacecoastbooklovers.com to transfer your ticket to another name. This must be done no later than Sunday, June 21st, 2020.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We recommend that you bring a printed ticket for faster processing. A picture ID is required and can be used in lieu of the printed ticket.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No, the name must match the attendee. Please contact Teri Edney at scbl@spacecoastbooklovers.com to transfer your ticket to another name. This must be done no later than Sunday, June 21st, 2020.
