Early Registration

Location: Convention Center Lobby
Description: Check in with the Registration team to get your packets and everything to assist you through the weekend. You have to register to get access to all the activities for the weekend. Make sure to take a few minutes to check out the items in your tote bags. Bookish Escapism: Meet & Greet
Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Salon II & Salon III
Description: Bookish Escapism: Meet & Greet is for all the authors, PAs, industry professionals, and supporting attendees to get together and mingle a bit before the weekend starts. The Book Fanatic Readers are invited to attend also. Adult beverages can be purchased at the cash/credit card bar. Dinner is served during this event. (Must have appropriate event badge for entrance.)
Dress Code: Casual to Smart Casual (No swimsuits or shorts. Shoes are required.)
Thursday, June 20th

Description: By asking our previous attending authors what they wanted to learn this year, we’ve streamlined the agenda to focus on what authors need and want to know most - how to engage with your readers. The morning breakout session's agenda will focus on the latest trends and ideas that have worked for many up and coming authors – we will have six breakout sessions that cater to entry level and experienced level authors. Even though the sessions are focused from an author's point of view, these are open to all paid tickets holders, including Book Fanatic Readers. Session Breakdown TBD

Description: A small group of Authors will choose a book from there backlist to read and discuss with the readers.

Description: Nexus is all about connections. It means "to bind". It will allow incoming authors and new to SCBL attendees to attend a mixer hosted by sponsors that have previously attended SCBL for at least 2 years. We will also have some of tenure readers attend for a good blend. Invitation required to attend this event.

Description: An opportunity for readers to have lunch with your favorite and new-to-you authors. Industry professionals will also be in attendance for networking with peers and readers. (Must have appropriate event badge for entrance.) (Reservation required)

#SCBL2024 PAYLOAD Book Launch
Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: Salon I
Description: Space Coast Book Lovers invites all ticket holders to join us for an afternoon of supporting the work of several of our 2024 featured authors. It will be the first chance to see several new releases that are not for sale anywhere until our party! Be the first to own a signed copy of your next great read. Complimentary refreshments, mingling, and readings from our outstanding authors. Don't miss this opportunity. Everyone is invited to join in the fun!!!

Description: All Book Fanatics, Book Junkies, Book Addict, and Book Maniac have access to the book signing a full hour before the general public is allowed in. Enjoy a special time set aside for you to mingle with the authors and purchase books before the general admission public has access. We encourage picture taking and getting autographs.

BOOKstravaganza Book Signing (FREE)

Description: FREE! Opened to the general public and anyone that wants to attend.

Description: Our themed after party is an opportunity for the Authors and Readers to mingle. Readers can ask questions and have small talk with their favorite authors and meet some new ones too. There will be heavy hors-d'oeuvres served. Adult beverages can be purchased at the cash/credit card bar. Theme: Under the Sea

Side note: Each event that furnishes food and/or open bar is for paying ticket holder for that activity. Only those people will be allowed to participate in the consumption of food & drinks.
